There are dozens of great documentaries available to watch about health and nutrition. Below are the top five that have made a huge impact in my family’s lives and I hope they will in yours too.

These are available to watch on popular streaming services but you can also check them out at a local library or online library. Watch these, others, or all of them, but do your own research. Don’t be afraid to question what doesn’t make sense in each video.

  4. Food Matters (available on Gaia and Food Matters TV)
This is one of my favorite documentaries because the subject matter is presented through the use of scientific research instead of through scare tactics. It will have you considering the truth of the information presented.

  5. The Game Changers (available on Netflix)
This is the latest documentary available at the time of writing this cookbook. It is a powerful documentary with several influential celebrities’ interviews that discuss the myth of protein being a problem in a vegan diet. If you’ve ever asked a vegan: “Yeah, but where do you get your protein?” This will knock it out of the park.
